Harmony Week at Eynesbury College: Celebrating Culture, Food and Community

17 Mar 2026

Harmony Week at Eynesbury College was brought to life through a vibrant Multicultural Day on campus, celebrating the diversity that makes our student community so unique.

Held in Bookman Hall as part of the Student Experience Program, the event brought students together through food, music, games, and shared cultural experiences. The space was filled with energy as students explored different traditions and connected with one another beyond the classroom.

Students representing Cambodia, Vietnam, and Colombia shared dishes from their home countries, along with traditional games, cultural dances, and national dress. Each contribution offered a glimpse into their culture, sparking curiosity, conversation, and a deeper appreciation for one another.

More than just a celebration, Harmony Week is recognised across Australia as a time to reflect on inclusivity, respect, and belonging. Events like Multicultural Day give international students the opportunity to share their identity and feel proud of where they come from, while building meaningful connections with others.

A big thank you to all the students who brought their cultures to life on the day. We also extend our appreciation to the teachers who supported the event and encouraged students to attend during break time — your flexibility helped make the celebration possible.

With such a strong turnout and positive energy, we’re already looking forward to welcoming even more cultures and countries to future events.
