Students can expect classroom teaching for approximately 4 hours per course per week. This is usually taught as one 2 hour lecture and one 2 hour tutorial. Students’ study load is usually four courses per trimester, but 3 courses can still be considered full time for student visa purposes.
At Eynesbury, we maintain very small class sizes, which gives students a real opportunity to be involved, ask questions and be interactive in class. Small class sizes also allow us to focus on practical teaching, group work and class discussions.
Outside of the classrooms, teachers’ timetables are available on their office door for students to drop in, make an appointment or seek extra assistance. Our teaching staff, who are specialists in their field, get to know each individual student, and are available for academic support outside of the classroom.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Eynesbury programs are delivered through a variety of modes, not excluding online studies. If at any point, the South Australian Government restrictions don’t allow us to continue teaching our on-campus classes, these will temporarily be shifted online. We will keep you informed via email if there are any changes.

In order to apply for an Eynesbury Program you must meet certain entry requirements. Learn more about entry requirements.
In order to accept your offer from Eynesbury, it is necessary to pay the fees and charges due as indicated in the Letter of Offer. This will include partial program fees plus the Overseas Student Health Cover charge (if applicable).
When making a payment, you need to include your Eynesbury Student ID, as listed in the Letter of Offer. There are several payment options, find out more about paying fees.
OSHC is health insurance to assist international students (and their dependents, such as spouses and children under 18 years old) to afford the costs of unplanned medical and hospital care while they study in Australia. It is a requirement by the Department of Home Affairs that you must have OSHC and that you maintain this throughout your studies in Australia.
OSHC covers you for visits to the doctor, some hospital treatments, ambulance cover and limited pharmaceuticals (medicines). Read more about OSHC, or visit the Department of Home Affairs’ website or privatehealth.gov.au for more info.

Orientation is where your Eynesbury journey starts. Eynesbury will host a series of activities and programs for new students to best prepare you for study at Eynesbury. We offer a comprehensive guide to help you effectively and efficiently transition into your Eynesbury studies. For many students this is not only a new study environment but a new country and way of life. Eynesbury staff are committed to helping ensure your success at Eynesbury and in Australia.
Orientation is mandatory to attend and the date and time will be outlined in your Letter of Offer.
It may take a while to fully adjust to life as an international student, especially when you have moved to Adelaide from another country.

Our Student Counsellor is available for confidential support for all personal issues and difficulties – no matter how sensitive, whether it is stress about your studies or concerns about your mental or physical health.

Each trimester Eynesbury will hold an event for all Diploma and Foundation Studies students who are due to graduate and commence university. The Academic Director will give a brief introduction, outlining the steps involved in the transition process followed by a presentation from each university. The university representatives will also be available to speak with individual students. This will be your only opportunity to meet with the university representatives on campus before transitioning to your chosen university. During the COVID pandemic, transition to university sessions have been held online.
