Overview

The Adelaide University × Eynesbury Pre-University Research Project Competition is designed to introduce Vinschool students to pre-university research skills through structured exploration of an academic topic of interest. The competition encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and clear communication with the suport from Eynesbury College and Adelaide University, a Group of Eight (Go8) university in Australia and TOP 100 University in the world (#82, QS Ranking 2026).

Eligibility

The competition is open to students in Vietnam in grades 10 – 12 from the following high schools:
– Vinschool Central Park
– Vinschool Grand Park
– Vinschool Phú Quốc – Grand World

Deadline for registering

Tuesday 10 February at 5 pm (ICT, UTC+7) – Registrations have closed!

Format

Round 1: Proposal Submission

  • Deadline: 28 February 2026
  • Students submit a written proposal in English (maximum 1,000 words)
  • Submissions will be reviewed by academic judges from Eynesbury College
  • Students may choose a topic within (but not limited to) the following areas:
    • Business, Economics and Finance, Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology, Biology, Physics and Chemistry;
    • Creative disciplines;
    • Health-related areas (subject to confirmation by AU).

Round 2: Grand Final Presentation

  • Timing: End of March 2026
  • Format: Live, on-stage presentation
  • Presentation structure:
    • 10-minute presentation
    • 5-minute Q&A with the judging panel
  • Judging panel includes:
    • Professors from Adelaide University
    • Academic representatives from Eynesbury College
  • From all submissions, Top 6 finalistswill be shortlisted to present in the Grand Final. From this group, Top 3 Winnerswill be selected.

Academic Support

All participants receive support through:

  • Guidance from experienced academic mentors in Australia
  • In-person demo class

Prizes

– A Study Tour to Adelaide, Australia for 5 days and 4 nights (valued up to 55,000,000 VND).
– Scholarships up to 50% (valued up to 385.000.000 VND)
– Other exciting rewards
